Good Morning!!!

Who knew it would be so hard to get my dada out of bed on Christmas morning? Him and that damn bourbon. I could hardly wait to see if Santa came. Dada must've been scared that he had coal in his stocking. Just kidding....he bounced back enough to help me with my presents and we had a great morning. I heart my dada. xoxo

My Stocking!!

My stocking is sooooo cool. It is so big and Santa has to stuff so much inside just to fill it. This year it was almost as big as I am. ALMOST!!!

New Jammies!!!!

WOW!! My Mom-Mom and Pops gave me new jammies. I really needed (and love) them. I wore them the night after Christmas and my mama and dada kept saying that I was sweet as a berry. Little known fact....my mama is allergic to strawberries so that was one night where she couldn't just eat me up.....thanks, Mom-Mom and Pops. Wish I could see you guys on New Years but, and don't take this the wrong way, I don't want to be anywhere near you if you're even remotely sick. Maybe we'll catch up next year. xoxo

Fun With Ribbon!!!!

I really love playing with ribbon and it was one of my favorite gifts. My gaga had some on a package for me and it was a hit. Sorry to everyone who bought me expensive toys or clothes. You totally could've gotten away with giving me wrapping paper and string.

Peek-A-Boo!!

I loved playing peek-a-boo with wrapping paper from my cousin, Jennifer. Thank you so much. Now you see me, now you don't!!! xoxo

Christmas Dress!!

Don't I look pretty?

More Gifts!!!

My Aunt Linda and Uncle Bill gave me lots of pretty clothes. I loved unwrapping the boxes and posing for pictures. Thank you. xoxo

Rockstar!!!

My Aunti Gigi gave me this piano toy and I love it. It has a microphone, a mirror, and everything. I practiced singing my new favorite Laurie Berkner song......"5, 4, 3, 2, 1 BLASTOFF!! Another rocket ship run...." Thank you, Auntie Gigi.

Santa, Where Are You???

I went to the mall the day after X-mas with my Gaga and Papa. I looked for Santa but all I found was his chair. He must've really needed to get back to the North Pole. I wanted to thank him for all of my gifts. See you next year, Santa.

ILLEGAL?

We were at the mall and my cousin Ty wanted to kiss me the whole time that we were at lunch. Isn't this illegal in most states? Maybe it's not illegal in West Virginia where my gaga and papa live. Just kidding. I know you cannot tell from this picture but, I swear, though I love Tyler lots, I DO NOT want to open mouth kiss him. Thankfully, he got my nose. Sorry Ty!

Wow!

Renting a fire truck stroller 7 dollars. Buying gifts at Pottery Barn 102 dollars. Gifts for me at Gymboree 32 dollars. Spending a Saturday at the mall with my cousins...PRICELESS!

Oh My God!

OMG! Santa and I have so many things in common. He has a big belly just like me, he loves to give people things just like me, and he has the perfect curl just like me. Actully he has many perfect curls just like me. We are like peas and carrots.

Ho Ho Ho

Santa came to Macy's and posed for pics with all the good little boys and girls. There was something suspicious about him...I think I have seen him before. He looks like my Uncle Bri aka The Godfather. I hope he remembers how to get to my house! I heart Santa Claus.

The Winner

Look at my Christmas card for 2008. My mama and dada say that I look so much older and mature. What do you think? Can you believe my mama put hairspray in my hair. I'm such a DIVA! My card rocks!

Okay...this is a little better

I decided to just go ahead and give a pretty smile so my mama would shut up. If I ever hear her say "Sammie, look at mama" again I might puke. I hope I never see that dumb camera again. I did get a lot of good hugs after I smiled like that.

X-Mas Pics

Why is it every year around this time my mama and dada make me take silly pictures? I never want to and this year I think I made my feelings very clear! My mama said that this picture didn't really make the cut. What does that mean?

Tyler's in the house!

Tyler came over to play with me on Saturday. We had so much fun. We talked, threw the ball, and played with my farm animals. He really liked the music. He is a good dancer. Maybe next time he will teach me some of his dance moves. I didn't really like it when I saw him playing my piano. Luckily his dad came to pick him up and I got my piano all to myself. :)

NIGHT OF THE LIVING CURLS!!!

i don't know what it was about last night but my curls were out in full force. my mama could not stop taking pictures of them. i really didn't want my picture taken because, as you can see, i've got a zit on my chinny chin chin. i'm still not sure if i like my curls or not but my mama sure does love them. she said she hopes i have them forever and ever. i don't think my dada cares either way, he just wants me to continue pointing at him and saying "hi, dada", which is one of my newest tricks. hope everyone is having a great week so far. xoxo - sammie

my mama and dada put the christmas tree up yesterday (well, my dada brought the box upstairs and helped with the lights, my mama did most of the work). dada said decorating is for women and took me downstairs to watch football. guess he forgot i'm a woman. the tree is very pretty. i like to sit and stare at the lights. i can't wait until i get to open all of my presents that will be piled under it. merry christmas everyone. fa la la!!! xoxo - sammie

THANKSGIVING IN CAPE MAY!!

i had such a good time at my mom-mom and pops' house for thanksgiving. the ride sucked but i dealt with it. my cousin megan and i watched some LB. she can actually sing the songs, she's so cool. i also got to spend some time with my uncle bill. i love him so much; probably because he loves me so much. his mustache sometimes tickles me when he kisses me but it's worth it. i wish i could see him more often. me, megan and ryan also piled on my mom-mom for a picture; that was fun. we had to make sure we didn't spill her wine though. it was great to see everyone. xoxo -sammie

UPDATE

The Woodbridge Times is reporting that Samantha fell asleep in her new bed tonight. Her parents had to low crawl (on all fours) out of her room for fear that she would wake up. All was well until 5 minutes later when she woke up. Her mama rocked her back to sleep and placed her in her bed. In an interview tonight her parents are pleading for help. How will they get their daughter to sleep in her own room? They are asking for advice from anyone. Please leave a comment on the blog if you have suggestions or advice. More details to come.

BREAKING NEWS

Samantha was spotted sleeping in her new bed. She slept there for 4 hours on Saturday night. Her mama and dada are investigating into this matter. That's all the details that we have as of now. More to come.

Saturday, November 22, 2008

Today I got a new bed. My mama and dada have been trying to figure out how to get me to sleep in my own room. I have been sleeping in their bed for a long time and I don't know why it is a problem. I hate that crib (prison) thing that they tried to make me sleep in. Who likes to be stuck in a thing like that? It was torture. I like to sleep in a bed without rails and a bed with my mama and dada. What's the big deal? Today we went to Babies R Us to get a Toddler Bed. My mama thinks that this might work. She is so naive. She means well but I think that she just likes to spend money. $100.00 later I have a new bed but they can't make me sleep in it. They are such fools! I bet you $100.00 that I will never sleep in that bed!

Pre Concert

We went to a pre concert lunch at On The Border by our house. I enjoyed passing crayons to my mama and dada and they had chips and salsa. I am so excited to see Laurie Berkner that I am busting at the seams. I still hope LB calls me to come on stage to play piano. Who knows? Miracles do happen. Even if you don't call me onstage LB, I will still heart you!

Buzz Buzz

Check out my new shirt that I got today at Laurie Berkner. I love it. It is so comfy and I will wear it to daycare on Monday and make all my friends jealous. LB is a hit at my daycare and I know they will love it as much as I do. BUZZ BUZZ! That's what my shirt shows, a bumblebee, and it's my second favorite song.

1st Concert

My first concert rocked. I have no idea how my dada will top this one. She is awesome. She started the concert with my favorite song, Victor Vito. She had a cool dress on and bright pink tights with brown boots. I love her style. She even put a pig on her head. Next time I see her I will bring my monkey stuffed animal and I will put it on my head too. I can hear the song already...Sammie has a monkey on her head, Sammie has a monkey on her head, and she keeps it there all day. I heart you Laurie Berkner!

Laurie Berkner or LB for short was the best time ever. It was so much fun that it wore me out...no hard feelings right, LB? I got up too early and didn't take a nap although my mama and dada told me to. I had no idea that I would see my favorite rock star. It made perfect sense that the last song she sang was Good Night.

Friday, November 14, 2008

OMG! My dada bought all of us tickets to see my favorite singer and I can't believe it. I am going to see Laurie Berkner...my idol. Last year at Christmas I had another ear infection and was crying out of control...MISERABLE TO SAY THE LEAST. My favorite Auntie GiGi bought the Laurie Berkner DVD and the minute it was popped in I was a perfect little lady. All of a sudden everything changed for the good. I had the best Christmas ever. I can't wait to see her tomorrow and I hope she asks me to come on stage to help. I practiced the piano for a long time tonight just in case I go on stage. More to come!! xoxo Sammie

Such A Pretty Girl

my mama had to work yesterday but my dada was off. i got to spend the whole day with him. we played, we napped, he even took me to target. and look how pretty he did my hair. then, when mama got home, we all went out to dinner. the entire wait staff loved me but they sure didn't show it via their service. it was terrible. i did all i could, once again, to knock dada's beer over but to no avail. hope everyone is doing well. xoxo -sammie

I never met my dada's grandfather, my great grandfather, but from what my mama and dada have told me, he was a great man. I love you so much, Pop, for what you did for your country, family, and everyone you loved. Happy Veteran's Day, sir! I love you! You are an inspiration to all of us. BTW, that is the flag from your funeral and my dada's shadow box from when he got out of the Marine Corps. Since the Marines are, technically, a department of your Navy, he wanted me to tell you, on this, the Marine Corps' 233rd birthday, "Semper Fi". xoxo May you continue to rest in peace. -Sammie

Happy Birthday United States Marine Corps!
