Merry Christmas!!!

hope everyone had a great holiday. i had a blast. santa was very good to me and i had so much fun with my cousins. here is a video and some pictures from my christmas morning:

Santa / Doctor Pics!!

this was the first year that i sat on santa's lap. i wasn't scared or anything and i didn't even pull his beard or try to take his glasses off. the big guy asked me what he could bring me this year and i said..........wait for it........wait for it.............."yogurt". hey, what can i say? i love yogurt.








over the weekend mommy and daddy noticed my left ear draining pretty badly and it was still doing it yesterday so daddy had to pick me up from school. which was fine with him because he was sick too. he has an ear infection in his right ear. i swear folks, you can't make this stuff up. so daddy and i both went to the doctor yesterday. it was funny to see him have to get his ears checked and temperature taken like i always do. hopefully, we'll feel better before the big weekend.

Where Did November Go???

ya know.....i used to be a lot better at this blogging thing. been slipping lately; i'll try to do better. not much going on, had thanksgiving in west virginia and it was very fun. mommy, daddy and i stayed in a cottage (more like hotel) and away from all the craziness. i slept good but boy was i all over the place:

halloween weekend

sorry, everyone, for not posting in a while. been kinda busy. had a great weekend and an awesome time trick or treating with my cousins. i was a cat (with smeared whiskers because i could not - would not - stop touching my face). trevor was a ninja, tyler was spider man. sadie was a cheerleader and rori was a baby. we had a blast trick or treating and we all got lots of candy. hope everyone is doing well. here are some pics from the weekend and halloween. xo

Groundbreaking!!

this is for those of you who are not friends with my daddy on facebook or who did not receive the link to all the pics on snapfish.

so, most of you probably remember that, back in august, my picture was in the paper. if not, page down a few posts and have a look. anyway, i was in the paper because a story was being done on my daycare trying to get grant money for a 3 story expansion on my daycare. well, i guess it all worked out and they got the money. so, incorporated in the yearly fall festival was a groundbreaking ceremony, this past weekend. and i was fortunate enough to be asked to participate. so here are some pics from the festival and the groundbreaking joint. i had a great time with my cousins!!

so, ya know......for years i refused to wear my glasses. mommy or daddy would put them on me and i would immediately rip them off. then all of a sudden i hit kindergarten and now i love wearing them (thank you, woughter). i think they make me look smart and grown up. what do you think?

FREEZE!!

i was looking very cute yesterday morning so daddy decided to take my picture. i wouldn't stand still for the pic so he said "freeze"........i guess this is my "freeze" pose. hope everyone is doing well. daddy is going to Back to School night tonight, i hope my teacher gives him a good report. :crossing fingers:

i cannot believe that i am in kindergarten already. i am so excited for my first day. i have been practicing saying my new teacher's name and also raising my hand when i want/need something.

This afternoon I went to my new school and met my new teachers. I have a feeling I am going to love Kindergarten!

well, we made it through the hurricane virtually unscathed. our little dogwood got pummeled but mommy and daddy did their best to save it.








i really liked watching the rain and wind from our living room window.




unfortunately, irene forced us to postpone our AWESOME FAMILY BEACH PICTURE THAT DADDY WAS TOOOOTALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO. oh well, maybe next year......or the year after that....or the year.......you get the idea.

Happy Dave's Day, Daddy!!

so.....ya know.....every year, famous dave's barbecue has "dave's day" where anyone with the first name of david, dave, davey......you get the idea......gets a free entree. well, dave's day was this past sunday and every year is like a second christmas to my dad. he LOVES dave's day. look how he is just glowing and basking in the gloriousness that is dave's day.



yes, that is a name tag that says, "My Name is.....Dave!" as if there is a need to remind everyone in the joint that you came out for a free meal but paid for all your beer. gotta love my daddy!!
