i'm pretty sure my daddy never got any letters like this sent home from his school. both mommy and daddy are so proud of me. i guess i need to come up with a great outfit for friday!!!

Our First Semester Awards Assembly will be held on Friday, February 10.
Your child will be receiving an award and you are cordially invited to attend.

here is an excerpt of an email that my mommy and daddy got from my teacher:

"Well, Guess what Birthday Girl is the Star Student for January? YUP...that's her! She had the most stars earned of all her classmates for the whole month."

i cannot believe that i am 6 years old today. where has the time gone? i know my mommy and daddy can't believe it either. i already got balloons from my gaga and this morning i danced a few times to the "zoom song". i took cupcakes to both daycare and to my big school. hope everyone likes them. tonight is cake and ice cream and HOPEFULLY some presents (crossing fingers). just gonna chill at home with the 'rents. no idea what the weekend has in store but i plan on having a very fun birthday weekend. miss everyone. -sams
