Daycare Trip to the Zoo!!

i know, i know........it's been a while.  i haven't posted anything since my birthday.  forgive me but i've been busy learning how to count to 30 and say "come here now" in spanish.  quick update on my summer:  i've been to west virginia, ocean city, the pool multiple times and the zoo (see pics).  going to OBX in a couple weeks and woughter has been visiting me twice a week all summer.  we work on my words and reading but it's not really work when she makes it so much fun.  here are pics from my trip to the reston petting zoo:

Happy Birthday to.......ME!!!

show of hands.......who reading this can believe that i am 7 years old?  i know, right?  crazy.  anyway, i'm so sorry for not blogging in what?  months?  i blame daddy.  that being said, i did just have a birthday / birthday weekend but, if i'm being honest, it wasn't the best.  being rushed to the hospital with a 105 degree temperature the friday before your super bowl sunday birthday is just not a good time.  had to cancel my bowling party (which come to find out daddy never reserved lanes anyway) and didn't really get to do anything fun.  unless you consider getting your temperature taken every hour and consuming tylenol and ibuprofen like it's your job to be fun.  mommy and daddy did their best to make my actual birthday the best that it could be.  i was overwhelmed with balloons, pancakes and presents.  i love my dora microphone and my new leap pad game.  i even got $5 in my dora card.  however, by the end of the day, i wasn't really feeling up to cake and ice cream so mommy and daddy said we could do that this weekend.  most kids would love to miss a week of school.  not me.  i love school and mrs. woughter.  i was so happy when woughter visited me on my birthday.  she is so full of awesome.  i showed mommy and daddy how i read on the computer, they were stoked.  since i had to abruptly leave school last friday, i didn't get to have my cupcake party with my classmates but woughter said we will have a party on my first day back to school, which will be this monday.  so excited.  daycare is going to have a cupcake party for me too.  which means mommy has to make a lot of cupcakes.  i would like to thank my gagi and papi for coming in from west virginia to watch me the last two days so that mommy and daddy could go to work.  they took me to mcdonald's and to get a haircut and out to lunch.  so fun.  please enjoy the pictures of my birthday weekend and rest assured that i will be getting my cake and ice cream this weekend.  miss you all.  xoxo -sams
