ON THE WAY TO CAPE MAY!!!!!

i had a great weekend with my dada in cape may. i slept most of the ride to lewes, de where we caught the ferry. we hit a ton of traffic and, of course, missed our scheduled 4:15 departure. by the time we got on the 5:15 boat, we were both ready for a drink. the following posts detail my trip to cape may on memorial day weekend. speaking of memorial day, a quick thank you to all the veterans and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for my freedom.

I SOOOOOO HEART THE ZOO!!!

i was so happy that dada was going to take me to the zoo. this was my second time going. my pops was so nice, he bought me a little monkey. i love it. i saw all sorts of animals including a big lizard. i was happy that lizard was on the other side of the glass. before we left, dada made sure we got our picture taken together in front of the big bear.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON IN CAPE MAY

after the zoo, my dada (and mom-mom & pops) took me to see uncle bill. he loves me so much and i love him too. it got a little hot out on the deck but he gave me a lemon water ice and it totally cooled me off, i was a happy camper. btw, mama, if you're reading this....luigi's water ice....lemon....make it happen. after that, we went to CJ's for lunch. i had mac and cheese and milk. everyone else had gross seafood stuff. then later, i TRIED to get some work done on my laptop but mom-mom was not having any part of that. she kept bothering me with kisses and making me do tricks. i heart her though.....it was sooo comfy in her arms. i just couldn't keep my eyes open for very long. heart you, mom mom.

SUNDAY IN CAPE MAY!

sunday was another great day in cape may. i took my great grandma (we'll call her granny) breakfast from mcdonald's. she gave me a little stuffed sheep to play with and i did all my tricks for her. after looking at this picture closer.........is that a cowboys shirt that granny is wearing? it can't be....she's a more die hard eagles fan than my dada. later in the afternoon, we went to a barbecue at my mom-mom's cousin's house on the bay. i met a new friend who is dear to my heart, nicholas. he let me play on his swing.

AND MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND COMES TO A SCREECHING HALT!!!

all good things must come to an end, right? after a great weekend in cape may, cough, fevers and snot landed me in the doctor's office on monday. i had to get TWO neb treatments of albuterol, which i totally smiled through, AND they took some blood. i cried during the needle part but was comforted by knowing that my dada would've been crying too. after a trip for chest x-rays, it was determined that i have bronchitis. bronchitis is the big suck. and i hate you, mr. cough. you better go away soon or i'm gonna get REALLY mad!!!! not too worry, everyone, i'll bounce back shortly. i always do.

Weekend in West Virginia

i had a great time in west virginia this past weekend. i love swings and playing with blocks. this weekend, dada is taking me to see my mom mom and pops and aunt linda and uncle bill. i'm going to ride on the ferry with my dada. i'm really looking forward to it. xoxo - sammie

Mother's Day Weekend

i had a great mother's day weekend. dada took me to home depot, mama took me to target. i gave my mama her mother's day present on sunday morning and she loved it. it was a picture of me in a personalized frame that basically said how much i heart her. then we had a cookout on sunday afternoon. dada grilled up some great chow and my cousins, trevor and tyler came over with autie bethies and uncle brian. dada said no feet on the table but......pffffft.......it's kind of a holiday for me too. afterall, my mama would not be a mama without me. i'll be posting some pictures and maybe a couple videos later. a belated happy mother's day to my mom-mom, gaga, auntie bethies, aunt gigi, auntie lisa, granny and aunt linda. miss everyone. xoxo - sammie

Weekend With Dada

my mama went and saw gaga and papa in west virginia this weekend so i had dada all to myself. come to find out that gaga feels pretty good after a rough week, so that makes me really happy. dada made sure we played alot and had lots and lots of fun. the weather sucked so we didn't go on any walks or hit any playgrounds. on saturday, we went to the grocery store. then we watched the mets game. i fell asleep before the race started so i missed that. i did wake up with about 10 laps to go, just to keep dada on his toes. he laid down with me and quickly got me back to sleep. today, we went to bob evans for breakfast....i really like that joint. i had yogurt and milk. he had his usual (western omelet, home fries, bacon). then, we went to the mall. dada bought me 3 new pajama sets that will keep me cool on the upcoming hot summer nights. hope everyone had as fun a weekend as i did. miss you all. xoxo - sammie

Play Ball!

My cousin Twevie wears number 2 (which my dada thinks is good luck because his NASCAR driver, Kurt Busch, drives the 2 car). Trevie is #2 in the program but #1 in our hearts. He was the best one on the team and boy can he hit. He scored by crossing home plate during his first game. I think what helped are the sunflower seeds my dada gave him. Where do you keep sunflower seeds if you are a ball player you ask? In your back pocket so it looks like you are digging in your butt the whole game. I think Twevie paid more attention to getting the sunflower seeds out of his back pocket than he did to the ball. Just kidding...I heart you Twevie and can't wait to see you in the majors.

This is not my happy face

Picture this...a hot Saturday and tons of screaming boys who are out of control. This is not my idea of fun. My boyfriend Brady would never act like those crazy boys and this is how my mama and dada want me to spend my Saturday? Are they insane? Although I love my Twevie I don't appreciate spending my Saturday in the heat. Can we get some AC and go shopping?

Game Day

What more can I say? Don't teeth and tee-ball go hand and hand? Most kids get oranges and snacks to eat after the game but we get toothbrushes. It could be worse right?

Opening Day at the ballpark

My cool cousin Twevie now plays tee-ball. He had his opening day a long time ago. Sorry for the late postings but I have been a little busy. It was fun to see him walk onto the field. His team is named the Owls and they are sponsored by the Springfield Lorton Dental Group. Shocker that my Auntie Bethies works for them. When you have any dental needs don't forget to call Springfield Lorton Dental. By the way, when it starts to rain will they go into a rain decay??? Just wondering.
