THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

Top 10 reasons why you know you live in Woodbridge....

10. You have to drive Interstate 95 all the time.
9. You are in traffic for about an hour both ways.
8. People are nice to you.
7. You live in Prince William County :(
6. You don't live in Fairfax County :(
5. You are in traffic all the time.
4. A woman named Tennessee works at Safeway.
3. Sometimes people don't have teeth.
2. Wal-Mart is packed all the time.
1. You actually see a horse tied up outside of a really nice restaurant that you eat at.

Honestly we couldn't believe it either. We had to drive around the parking lot two times to really understand why someone would do this. We still don't understand...you can still get a DUI if you are driving a horse right? I bet we wouldn't see this in Burke or Arlington.

Birthday Dinner

We had a great birthday dinner at a steak restaurant around the corner from my house. You would have thought that it was my birthday because I was the one who got the balloon. This was a big deal because we usually don't go out to eat and we definitely don't go out to eat during the week. When dada's turn 34 they are too old for balloons, cake, and singing. That's a shame!

Happy Birthday Dada!

Happy 34th birthday to my dada. You are the best dada in the whole world and I love you very much. Have a great day! Don't let anyone tell you that you are getting old :)

Great Weekend!!

i had another great weekend. on saturday, my mama, dada and i went to the mall, then to ikea for some chairs and then picked up our new kitchen table from pier 1. my mama really wanted this table so i told her "ahh, we have the money....". it was really, really heavy and my dada struggled with getting it in the house. dada put the table together and mama put the chairs together. i really like it. then, on sunday, my dada played golf and my mama took me to see my cousins and auntie bethies. that afternoon, dada and i watched basketball and the race. it was a great weekend, can't wait until the next one. xoxo - sammie

Bad Hair!

This is what happens when you get braids in your hair and then take them out for a tubby. What you can't see is that I am rockin' the crimped look from 1985. Do people still do that? If they do, do they think it still looks good?

BRAIDS!

My mama and dada try to make me look pretty every day but to be honest, at 5:30 in the morning it can be pretty hard. This morning was one of those days...I didn't cooperate for the brushing and I didn't want a hairtie in my hair. Luckily, I have awesome teachers that make me look good. Ms. Ashley, one of my favorite teachers put braids in my hair. How cute do I look? I won't tell my mama and dada how patient I was because I don't want them to think that I sit to get my hair done. I like to give them grief and I don't want them to think that when they do my hair I'll be patient!

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

what a weekend i had. it all started on friday. the hearing doctor is now my #1 seed for least favorite doctor visits (as you can see). stupid tubes. the right one is blocked and i'm back on ear drops. i HATE ear drops. good news is, i can hear. i had a great saturday, spent mostly with mama as dada was playing in a golf tournament. he, uncle brian, mr. tony and mr. jerry took 3rd place. sunday was a great day. i started it off by waking my mama and dada up with kisses. i do that now. it's fun. then dada and i went to home depot and the grocery story. i love to wave to everyone in the grocery store and they all say i'm so adorable. later in the afternoon, dada worked on installing a whole new flushing system in the middle floor bathroom's toilet. i heard him cursing and getting really pissed off. after about an hour, he was finished. i think it was only a 3 or 4 beer job. my dada is not the handiest of men but i love him. before my tubby on sunday night, dada made my hair crazy and asked me to sit like a big girl. i love getting my picture taken so i was okay with it. that's all for now. miss everyone. xoxo

Happy 5th Birthday Twevie!

Trevor had his birthday party at the bowling alley on Saturday. We had a great time. I even bowled and almost got a strike. Pictures of me to come later. Auntie Bethies took my picture and I have to get them from her. Luckily I didn't have to wear those stupid clown, I mean bowling shoes. Trevor is really into skateboarding now. The McCloskey gang and I got him his first skateboard. Hopefully he doesn't fall and break something. I will keep my fingers crossed.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TREVOR!!!!

Go Away Cough!

If I cough one more time I am going to pull out my hair! I do love my shirt that my Auntie Vroom-Vroom and soon to be Uncle John John gave me. I hope that he likes the name John John...I think it's cute just like me.
