halloween

My daddy loves Eeyore and I don't think that everyone knows that. When my mommy met him he had a Eeyore stuffed animal that had a removable tail. I really loved being Eeyore for Halloween and my cousins Twev and Ty liked it too.

Halloween is so much fun. Eeyore had a great time and actually kept her nose on. Eeorye enjoyed walking around to the different homes. Eeyore laughed a lot and really had a good time. Eeyore got a lot of compliments on her costume but could have cared less. Obviously Eeyore hasn't realized the true meaning of Halloween. You know, the candy!

Someone Learned How To Pick Her Nose

sorry, it's been so long since my last post. it's been a busy couple weeks what with going back to school and getting back on a regular sleep schedule. i've learned a couple new tricks: "cross your legs" and "pick your nose". i know i'm not supposed to pick my nose and mama and daddy do try and discourage it, but it's so funny and cute that sometimes they just have me do it to get a laugh. i've also learned how to kind of almost say one of my teachers' names. amber. i say it more like "ambah". so either i'm from boston or i need to work on my diction. either way, just getting the "a" sound and the correct number of syllables are the most important things. also, i got my 2nd haircut. i know my mama is a great teacher but she may have a second calling as a hairstylist. she cut my bangs so they don't hang in my face anymore but managed to keep the little curly Q at the same time. mama and dada have chosen my halloween costume. i'm going to be eeyore. little known fact: eeyore is my dada's favorite pooh character. hee-hee......i said "pooh"! trevor and tyler are coming over my house to go trick or treating so that'll be fun. that's kind of been a tradition the last few years. can't wait to post pics of me in my costume. xoxo -sammie

gotta love antibiotics. i had a great weekend and am back to my happy and playful self. mama and dada played with me all weekend. we went to the mall and out to lunch and i watched football with dada. i hate when the eagles have a bye but i think it really helps dad's blood pressure. even though we're met fans, dada and i will be pulling for the phillies in the world series (poopie on aunti gigi and the stupid rays). i also learned a couple new tricks (video soon). mama was a little under the weather yesterday but i think she's feeling better. that's all i got for now. miss everyone. xoxo -sammie

i was pretty tired around midnight in the emergency room on monday night. mono, pneumonia and another seizure..........all within the span of one month. ahh well, family motto: "it could always be worse." i'm home with mama today since i can't go to daycare. hopefully, i'll continue to improve so that i can go back to daycare tomorrow and try, again, to get back on my regular schedule. miss everyone. -sammie

I know it's been a while since my last post, sorry. I'm a busy two year old, ya know. I went back to pre school last week and have been doing some really cool finger paintings and learning new songs. But, I found out last week that I need to have tubes put back in my ears. That's not going to be fun but I've been through it before so I know what to expect. Dada has been busy at work and with his own appointments (he's only 33 but feels like he's 53 (nice neck you got there, old man) but we did spend some quality time together last night. My mama started taking a sign language class last night so Dada had me all to himself for a couple hours. Mama said she learned how to sign 2 songs and her ABCs. My mama must be very smart because that seems like a lot for just the first class. Anyway, tube surgery is set for the 14th with a follow up on the 28th. That's all from down here. Miss everyone.

P.S. please don't mind my hair in this picture. it is out of control and dada made the decision to not untangle and make it pretty because if he did i would've gone ballistic.

Love Your Dada

David and Sammie obviously have a special bond and they do some really cute tricks together. They do a thing called, "love your dada." You can watch for yourselves. Sammie thinks it is the best thing in the world! It is the best thing to watch. I laugh so hard! When I see Sammie and David do this trick I am always thankful that she has an amazing dad who loves her no matter what. I get a little bitter sometimes because I have tried to do this with her and it is as if she has no clue what I am doing. I guess there are special things that daughters do with mamas and special things that daughters do with dadas. I am so glad to have a daughter and so glad to have a (husband) dada that loves his daughter so much.
