yeah, doc......right here.....that's where it hurts! :(
started coughing pretty bad on sunday. then, i woke up on sunday night (monday morning) at 2 AM with a pretty bad fever. dada took my temp twice and it was 102.6 and 103.1. he gave me some motrin and then checked it a little while later and it was down to low 100s / high 99s. so we made our third trip to the doctor in as many weeks. strep test negative, h1ni negative. lungs and heart are good, no bronchitis or pneumonia. then........they wanted my blood. for the first time, i had blood taken like a big girl, from my arm. i pitched a fit and it took 3 people to hold me down, but they got it. blood count, perfect....nothing bacterial. so, basically, i have a....lemme see if i remember this correctly...."some non-flu viral virus". plan of attack is to stay on the motrin or tylenol until my fever breaks and just let this thing run it's course.
it wasn't all bad though....i did manage to get in some light reading:

Poor Sammie! Those bad old colds keep coming after you. No fair. It's somebody else's turn. Well maybe this will be the last one for the winter (wouldn't that be super?) Hope you feel better really soon, honey.
