here is an excerpt of an email that my mommy and daddy got from my teacher:
"Well, Guess what Birthday Girl is the Star Student for January? YUP...that's her! She had the most stars earned of all her classmates for the whole month."

Congratulations Sam Sam! You are probably correct about daddy not getting the most stars in his childhood years. You must be following in mommy's foot steps. Although, rumor has it that Daddy was quite the speller in his day!
Wow Sammie - We are so proud of you!! I wish we lived closer so we could see you get this award. Actually Daddy was a very good speller but that was about it academically. But he was very good at sports and charming his teachers.... We love you Honey - Congratulations!
